About StreamTop
StreamTop is a platform for internet radio. Listeners find live stations, see what is playing now and vote for their favourite. Stations get free statistics, song requests, a schedule, widgets and their own app.
Why StreamTop?
There are thousands of small internet radio stations, often run by volunteers and hobby DJs who love making radio. But they are hard to find: if you don't already know a station's name, you rarely end up there. StreamTop wants to make those stations visible, and give listeners a nice place to discover new radio.
What you can do here
For listeners
- Listen live in your browser, without an app or account.
- See what is playing now and who is live.
- Search by genre, location or a song.
- Vote, request a song or leave a message in the guestbook.
For stations
- Your own station page and a place in the chart.
- Statistics: listeners, most played songs, busiest hours.
- Song requests, a schedule, DJs and a studio cam.
- Widgets and your own app for your own website.
Fair and independent
The order of the stations and the chart comes from votes and visitors, not from payment. Every month everyone starts from zero again, so new stations get a fair chance too. Every week we make a chart of what is played on all stations together, and every month listeners choose the Station of the month.
We only measure what is needed to run the site and prevent abuse. You can read exactly how in the privacy statement.
Who's behind it?
StreamTop is made and run by a small team of radio lovers. Got a question, an idea or want to work together? Send us a message via the contact form.
